What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is an open world computer game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. You can think about this as a digital building blocks, an open free format construction based game. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft enable players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D world. The worlds can be shared with others and allow collaborative building and play.
